Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 (Blue Rodeo album)
Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is a 2001 greatest hits album by Blue Rodeo. It was released in the United States in 2004.
It collects most of the singles from all of their albums except 2000's The Days in Between, which was still a relatively current release. It also includes a cover of "To Love Somebody" by The Bee Gees. (Critics have noted that this is probably a second-hand borrowing, as Gram Parsons, a more obvious influence on Blue Rodeo's music, also covered the song on the 1974 Flying Burrito Brothers rarities album Close Up the Honky-Tonks.)
"After the Rain", from 1990's Casino, is included in a new, re-recorded version featuring the band's then-present line-up plus a horn section.
